A frequently awarded Beaujolais estate specialising in the Moulin-à-Vent appellation. The wines here are traditionally weighty for Beaujolais and, to that end, Gerard Charvet practices extensive crop thinning to ensure maximum concentration in the harvested fruit. Intense ruby red, with a nose of notable power and intensity, with floral and mineral aromas. A full and rounded feel on the palate, with hints of mocha and violet accenting the raspberry fruit backbone. Drink now or cellar for 2-3 years, and serve with duck or lamb.

With grapes sourced from different microclimates from different altitudes to accentuate the unique Argentinian terroir, this is benchmark Malbec made by the Catena family, whose name is synonymous with quality. Showing ripe blackberry and blackcurrant fruit flavours, subtle vanilla oak and plenty of peppery spice balanced by firm tannins and crisp, refreshing acidity on the finish.

The Agrelo vineyards are well known for producing wines of great finesse as they possess ideal soil and micro climatic conditions for growing classic varietals such as Cabernet Sauvignon. A full bodied wine with rich, dark, cassis-scented black fruit and a warm, spicy finish.

A blend of grapes from three, high altitude vineyard sties, La Pirámide, Domingo and Adrianna, creating a wine of unique character that has balance, concentration and a strong varietal identity. Showing notes of mango, banana and apple, with a hint of sweet spice and wet stone. Full yet clean on the palate, with pear and fig fruit flavours rounded off with fresh, crisp acidity.

Deep violet in colour with almost black hues, the nose is focused with intense ripe blueberry and plum intermingled with subtle leather, vanilla and tobacco notes. A complex and fruit driven palate, the finish is long and lingering with soft, round tannins providing wonderful harmony. This wine would make a great match with pasta, beef and sweet courses such as dried fruit or chocolate.
